What is Breathwork?
Breathwork is a practice of conscious, connected breathing that taps into the body's natural ability to heal and access self-love. It's an active and powerful form of meditation.
While there are many styles of breathwork, at Block and Breathe we guide a two-stage pranayama breath— a technique passed on by David Elliott. This simple yet transformative method involves breathing through the mouth with a two-part inhalation: first into the low belly, then into the high chest, followed by a relaxed exhale. We continue to train with David regularly to deepen both our practice and the experience we offer.
The benefits of breathwork are far-reaching. It can ease stress, enhance emotional well-being, boost energy, improve sleep, foster deeper connection with yourself and others, and awaken a greater sense of awe, delight, and the ability to live fully from the heart.

What is Block Therapy™ ?
Block Therapy™ is a restorative, detoxifying form of self-bodywork that decompresses fascia, releases tension and creates space for your breath to flow more freely—helping you to move through life with greater ease.
Using a specially designed wooden block (or a tightly rolled-up towel), we adress adhesions in your connective tissue that build up from stress, injury, and aging.
Through conscious breathing, strategic block placement, and longer holds, restrictions in your body begin to melt away, softening the tissue, easing tension, and increasing circulation. With each position, you support better alignment, mobility, and tissue healing.
Block Therapy™ is about unlocking ease, strength, and balance—so you can move through life feeling refreshed, restored, and free.

My Story
Hello, I'm Diana Benz—a breathwork facilitator, Block Therapy™ instructor, and energy healer devoted to guiding you back to your natural balance, joy, and freedom. I believe in the profound power of listening to and nurturing the body, creating space for deep healing—guided by the breath as the key to lasting transformation.
Like many, my path has been shaped by navigating life's shifts and challenges. Yoga and Reiki were my early supports—especially yoga, which became my trusted medicine for physical and emotional well-being. But as I entered my 40s, I began facing puzzling health issues. My familiar practices no longer brought the relief they once did, and I found myself grappling with chronic pain, anxiety, and a growing sense of disconnection from my body.
That turning point led me to explore new paths for healing. That's when I found Breathwork—a deeply transformative practice of active meditation that opened me up to feeling and releasing emotions I hadn’t fully accessed before. It expanded my awareness and brought profound shifts in how I relate to my body and mind. I was instantly drawn in. Then came Block Therapy™—an innovative fascia decompression method rooted in diaphragmatic breathing and proper alignment. This powerful work relieved pain I once thought was permanent. Together, breathwork and Block Therapy lifted me to a level of vitality and inner peace I never imagined possible—and sparked my passion to share these gifts with others.
Today, I’m known as a devoted mother, guide, and space holder—offering a grounded presence, reverence for nature’s rhythms, and a deep curiosity for the human experience. I hold space for growth and transformation with warmth, compassion, and care.
We all face challenges—but beyond them lies the possibility of freedom and beauty. Healing begins when we welcome what’s ready to be felt. I’m honored to support your process as you return to yourself—one breath at a time.
